Jennifer Raymond is a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and their families. She is the founder and director of Purple Couch Psychological Services and has been in private practice for 17 years (formerly known as Touchstone Psychological Services)
Jennifer's areas of special interest include attachment throughout the lifespan and treatment of anxiety disorders, particularly Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Jennifer's experiences have included; preschool teacher, parent educator, school psychologist and she currently divides her time between her work and raising two daughters with her husband and three dogs.
Jennifer offers counseling in a safe, supportive environment to facilitate exploring life issues and experiences that cause unhappiness and create stress. She approaches the counseling process with respect and her practice borrows from a variety of theoretical orientations including Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal and Jungian.
Common referral concerns include family of origin issues, depression, self-esteem, parenting, anxiety, postpartum issues, grief/loss , attachment, divorce/separation, and abuse/trauma.
Jennifer also offers consultation to other therapists as well as supervision to provisional psychologists.
